THE METINELLA CUISINE

Our small restaurant is a familiar place where you can taste genuine and local dishes cooked with love by our young chef Giulia. During the spring and summer period the lunch will be served in our garden or in our balcony facing on vineyards and the magnificent Tuscan country side. During fall and winter time, instead, lunch will be served in our warm dining room by the fireplace.
Our homemade dishes are prepared with raw materials coming from our vegetable garden and from the local farmers. Here is chef Giulia Campiani’s thought:

“In a unique and unspoiled territory, Metinella offers to its guests a riot of flavors that only these places in Tuscany can give. The hills, the rows of the vineyard, the luxuriant olive trees surround a moment of tasting with great emotional impact. I intend to infuse in my dishes the scent and colors of our vegetable garden creating culinary experiences that delight the palate of the guests. The wine the only protagonist, it accompanies every dish, refines the taste and completes the atmosphere of pleasure that pervades the guests. All this presented by Lorenzo who will accompany you on this wonderful journey to discover the food and wine excellences of Valdichiana and Val d’Orcia”.
